Manuel Marquez, MD, has held a wide variety of leadership positions over the course of his career. He currently serves as an International Tour Management Institute-certified Tour Director, in which role he has led excursions to Cuba and across California. Manuel Marquez, MD, has also expanded his knowledge as a participant in familiarization tours and cruises to destinations ranging from the Alaska Inland Passage to the Nile River. To date, he has become expert on locations across Europe, Asia, the Middle East, Africa, and the Americas.

Manuel Marquez, MD, comes to his work in travel backed by more than 25 years of medical practice leadership. He stands out as the former clinical research coordinator for the Ventura County Hematology Oncology Specialists Medical Group, a position he accepted following service as the assistant area medical director for the Southern California Permanente Medical Group. Dr. Marquez also served as a longtime manager and board president of the Buenaventura Medical Group and as the chair of the Family Medicine department of St. John’s Hospital.
